Parking at The Helix in Dublin is centred on the secure multi-storey DCU car park opposite the venue. It has access from Collins Avenue, space for about 850 cars and an underground walkway to the entrance, making it the main option for shows and daytime visits.

The venue car park is directly opposite The Helix building on the DCU campus. Enter from Collins Avenue and follow the campus signs to the multi-storey facility. The underground walkway provides a direct route towards the venue entrance, so you do not need to search for a separate city-centre car park.

The Helix car park charges and payment

Allow for the following current parking charges:

• Full day: generally €5.
• Typical three- to four-hour event: €6 when paying at the payment machines.
• Overnight parking: €15.
• Drop-off or collection: a 30-minute grace period applies.

The facility is cashless. Card and contactless payment are available at the exit barriers, while a prepaid €5 car park ticket can be bought at The Helix Cafe Bar to help speed up departure.

Nearby street parking around the DCU campus should not be treated as guaranteed overflow for a major event.
