Dublin is a versatile city with many things to offer for both visitors and locals. To narrow it down, read this list of the five best things to do in Dublin for nature lovers, foodies and culture enthusiasts!

Whether you have your own or need to rent a car for your trip, driving in an unfamiliar big city can easily become a daunting experience when trying to find a parking spot. Therefore, you can find some easy parking tips at these Dublin attractions. If you are looking for central parking during your stay, reserve your parking at the centrally located Conrad Dublin Hotel.

1. Experience the heart and story of Guinness!

Dublin and Ireland are well known for their lovely dark beer - Guinness. Located at St. James’ Gate, the Guinness Storehouse offers an opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the iconic beer.

From Dublin city centre, it will take you around 20 minutes to get to the Storehouse. There is a free parking lot conveniently located just around the corner - but be quick because spots are limited!

The well-rounded establishment even offers a pint of Guinness at the end of your visit! Drink responsibly, though, as you continue your journey to the next destination.

2. Explore St. Patrick’s Cathedral!

Not far away from the Guinness Storehouse, you can find St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the national cathedral of the Church of Ireland. Not only is it the largest cathedral in the country, but it also has several famous graves such as Jonathan Swift’s, the author of Gulliver's travels. The beautiful architecture is also a must-see when in Dublin!

Due to its popularity, parking is a bit tricky. However, there is plenty of street parking close by on St. Patrick’s Close, Hanover Lane and John Dillon Street.

3. A visit to The Little Museum for the culture and history enthusiasts!

The award-winning The Little Museum tells the remarkable history of Dublin through a carefully selected collection of artefacts. As a perfect activity for both adults and children, you will be able to learn about the Irish capital’s history from 1900 to 2000 by walking around the Georgian townhouse full of intriguing facts.

Located close to the lovely St. Stephen’s Green park, you can find convenient parking at the nearby Conrad Dublin Hotel. You can easily book your parking spot in advance on Mobypark!

4. Grab a bite of Leo Burdock’s famous Fish & Chips!

Founded in 1914, Leu Burdock’s is the oldest chipper and a staple in Dublin. Although they currently have several locations in the city, the one near Christ Church Cathedral is the original. Leo Burdock’s is only a leisurely 20-minute walk from the Conrad Dublin Hotel parking through the lovely city centre, so easily leave your car there as there is no time limit to your parking.

Did you know the fish and chips were originally served in day-old newspapers? However, today, they are given out on paper sheets.

5. Take a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher!

Besides all the city hotspots, you should definitely drive out to see the nature of Ireland. The beautiful views from the Cliffs of Moher will take your breath away!

Although the drive is 3,5 hours one-way, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape along the way. Once you arrive, you can use the main car park which is just across the road from the visitor centre. It is recommended to book your spot in advance, though, so remember to do that!

If you want to explore a bit more during the trip, choose to stay overnight in the neighbouring city of Galway or the local town Clare for the chance of diving deeper into the Irish culture! Or go on a Medieval Day Trip from Dublin and visit a Trim Castle and Town, including a Whiskey Tasting.

All in all - Dublin and Ireland are amazing places to visit. Be sure to check out all the places on this list when going there!
