Compare bookable parking near Maxvorstadt

A pre-booked space is useful when you need to arrive at a fixed time or stay longer than the usual on-street limit. Check the available Mobypark space, access instructions and booking conditions for your dates before setting off, so you spend less time searching in the university quarter.

Street parking zones and prices in Maxvorstadt

Signed mixed-parking areas in Maxvorstadt allow residents with a valid parking permit to park without the visitor charge, while other drivers must pay for a ticket. In the Schönfeldviertel parking area, visitor parking costs €2 per hour from Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 23:00, with a daily maximum of €11.

Some spaces have a maximum stay of two hours. Always check the individual sign and parking meter, as the time limit can make street parking unsuitable for appointments, workdays or overnight stays. If the two-hour limit does not fit your plans, a bookable Mobypark space can provide a more practical alternative to looking for another bay when your time expires.

Amalienpassage car park and other garage options

The Amalienpassage underground car park on Türkenstraße is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has 205 spaces, a maximum entry height of 1.90 metres and a charge of €3 per hour. Payment is by card only, so do not rely on cash at the exit.

For a central visit where finding an empty bay could delay your arrival, compare the available Mobypark spaces for Maxvorstadt and reserve ahead where the access details suit your vehicle and stay.

Long-stay and overnight parking in Maxvorstadt

Street parking is not a dependable choice for a full day or overnight stay when a two-hour limit applies, even though visitor charging may end outside the signed paid hours. Resident restrictions, parking bans and other signs can still apply.

For multi-hour, overnight or multi-day parking, check the booking dates and arrival instructions for a Mobypark space before driving into Maxvorstadt. Pre-booking can reduce time pressure compared with circling the streets or entering a full car park.

Parking at busy times in Maxvorstadt

Demand for central parking is higher during weekday daytime hours and around evening appointments. Arriving without a plan may leave you choosing between a short, paid street stay and a more expensive last-minute garage space.

If you need capacity at a particular time, compare public car parks with Mobypark’s bookable private spaces in and around Maxvorstadt before departure. Allow extra time for access, check the vehicle height and keep the booking instructions available when you arrive.

Parking permits, restrictions and fines

Resident parking permits apply only in the relevant signed licence area and do not give visitors the same parking rights. A visitor must pay where mixed parking requires a ticket, observe the displayed maximum stay and avoid spaces reserved for residents, loading or disabled parking.

Parking without a valid ticket or staying beyond the permitted time can result in a warning charge that depends on the length of the offence:

A general parking ban can cost €25, rising to €40 when the vehicle remains for more than one hour. If a parking meter is defective, display a parking disc showing your arrival time and follow the instructions on or beside the machine.
