Monthly Parking Subscriptions: rent a parking space without the hassle

Mobypark now has Monthly Parking Subscriptions. At selected locations you can have your own guaranteed parking space, paid once a month, renewing automatically until you cancel. A parking subscription from one month, with no long-term contract.

If you live or work in a city, parking is often hard to find and expensive, and you end up circling the block looking for a parking spot. The obvious fix is a parking space of your own, but most people don't know exactly how long they'd need it. You're waiting on a parking permit and nobody can tell you when it will come. Your work contract ends in the summer and you don't know yet if you'll stay. There's a second car at home that doesn't fit in the driveway, and you don't know how long it will be there.

Committing to six months is risky, and making separate Mobypark bookings again each month is not ideal. A monthly parking subscription is built for exactly that: it starts at one month and it stays yours until you say stop.

What a monthly parking subscription gives you

Your own guaranteed parking space

Like a parking season ticket, the parking space is yours for the whole period, month after month. Nothing to rebook, nothing to check, no wondering whether it will be free next week.

You know what you’re getting before you pay

The monthly rate, the access hours and the conditions of the parking location are all known before you subscribe. You pay the first month online by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or iDEAL. There's no sign-up fee and no long-term contract. Almost all of the time there is also no deposit, with a few exceptions.

Your payment is protected

Renting a parking space from an ad online means paying a stranger or a hard to reach property owner up front and hoping the parking space is what the photo showed. Here, we hold your payment until you've parked and everything is as promised. You can read reviews from other people who have parked there. And if anything needs sorting, we're here.

Nothing to renew

It renews by itself, and you always know a renewal is coming before it happens. You set it up once and then you can forget about it. When you don’t need the parking anymore, you can easily stop your monthly parking subscription in less than a minute.

How to get a monthly parking space

Starting a monthly parking subscription takes a couple of minutes, and you can do it from any parking page that offers it. It's the same flow as a normal booking, with a start date but no end date.

1. Open the parking page of a location that offers Monthly Parking and check the rate, the access hours and the conditions.
2. Choose your start date. It can be today or up to 31 days ahead.
3. Log in and pay the first month.
4. Your monthly parking subscription is immediately confirmed (companies’ parking), or accepted within 24 hours (individuals’ parking).
5. Your subscription starts at the beginning of that location's access hours on your start date.

If the parking space belongs to an individual, the owner accepts your request within 24 hours. Company car parks are instantly booked. So leave a little time if you're subscribing to an individual's parking space. An instantly bookable (company) parking location can be accessed instantly, right after you started your monthly parking subscription.

Some locations are open 24/7. Others are open on weekdays during office hours, usually from 7:00 to 19:00. Always check the exact hours on the parking page before you subscribe, along with how you get in. If you can't find a location with the option, here's how to look for one.

Renewing and cancelling

Your subscription renews every month on the same date, with the reminder 7 days before and the payment 24 hours before your current period ends. Your exact dates are always in your Mobypark account.

You can cancel your monthly parking any time after the first month, up to 24 hours before your current period ends. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep the parking space until the period you've paid for is over. There's no notice period and no penalty for leaving.

Fellow Mobyparkers really appreciate it when you cancel your monthly parking as soon as you know you no longer need it. This way, the parking space becomes available again for someone else to use.
