Parking in Blücherpark: the main car-park area

Parking in Blücherpark is centred on the spaces beneath the elevated railway along Parkgürtel. These spaces provide the most direct car access to the park, which runs between Parkgürtel, the A57 and surrounding residential streets in Köln-Bilderstöckchen.

Blücherpark has several entrances rather than one main gateway. Check the exact entrance before leaving your car, particularly if you are heading for the pond, the Kahnstation, the playgrounds or the sports ground.

Street parking around Parkgürtel

Street parking is available in parts of the surrounding area, but spaces can be limited when the park is busy. Use marked bays only and follow the signs for restrictions, resident access, time limits and payment. Do not park on grass, paths, cycleways or access routes into the park.

The Kahnstation at Escher Straße and Parkgürtel does not have its own dedicated car park. A space beneath the elevated railway or on a permitted nearby street is therefore more practical than trying to drive into the park itself.

Blücherpark is a popular local green space, and its lawns, pond and paths become particularly busy in good weather. If the spaces along Parkgürtel are full, continue to a permitted street space rather than using unofficial areas around the park boundary.
