Car park at Riehler Straße 190: rates and validation
The standard tariff is €0.60 for each started 20-minute period, with a daily maximum of €18. Zoo visitors can reduce the price to €4 for a full-day ticket when the parking ticket bought there is stamped at the zoo's main exit.
Take the ticket from the parking machine inside the car park and display it clearly behind the windscreen. The machines currently accept coins only. There are no entry or exit barriers and no live occupancy display, so allow extra time if you need to find a space or make payment.
Parking under the Zoobrücke: access and daily fees
The parking area beneath the Zoobrücke is open 24 hours a day. Riehler Straße divides the area into two parts, with access from Frohngasse towards the Rhine and from Alter Stamheimer Weg towards Riehler Straße.
At weekends and during holidays, zoo visitors pay a €5 day rate and cannot buy an hourly ticket. On other days, payment of up to €5 per day is made at a municipal parking meter. Follow the signs at the entrance because payment arrangements can differ between the two sections.
