Parking at LANXESS arena is centred on the venue’s P1 to P4 car parks and P5 parking area in Cologne-Deutz. Event traffic can build up before the start and after the finish, so allow time for entry, payment and the post-event exit queue. Follow signs for “LANXESS arena” and “Koelnmesse” and check the event-specific parking information before travelling.
The arena’s car parks are close to the venue, while Deutzer Bahnhof is about 750 metres away, roughly a 10-minute walk. If your event ticket carries the VRS logo, it may also be valid as a public transport ticket within the relevant network.
LANXESS arena car parks P1 to P4: prices and opening hours

Most entrances have a maximum height of 1.90 metres. The Opladener Straße entrance to P3 has a lower 1.80-metre limit and opens only around two hours before an event, so taller vehicles should use a suitable alternative.

At public events, the Arena-Tarif costs €9 as a flat rate. It is valid from 06:00 on the event day until 06:00 the following day, with exit permitted until three hours after the event ends. This event tariff is separate from standard hourly parking and is only available for public events.

P5 is chargeable around the clock at €1 per started 30 minutes, with a stated 24-hour rate of €12. Payment is by coins or contactless NFC card, including compatible girocards, bank cards and smartphones. Display the ticket clearly behind the windscreen and park only as directed.
Temporary closures and event restrictions at P5
P5 is completely closed for all Kölner Haie games. Partial or full closures can also apply during concerts and other events, including dates listed for 2026. Access, vehicle height and parking enforcement
Use the signed approaches rather than attempting to join a car park entrance at the last moment. P1 is accessed via the tunnel on Opladener Straße. P3 can be reached through Tor 4 on Gummersbacher Straße or via the Opladener Straße tunnel, but the latter has the lower height limit and restricted event-day opening.
Park only inside marked bays and keep a valid ticket or parking authorisation visible where required. Vehicles outside marked spaces or without valid permission may be removed at the owner’s cost.
