Parking BMW Museum, Munich

Parking at BMW Museum is easiest to plan before you arrive: Mobypark lets drivers compare and pre-book an available option near the museum, alongside the BMW Welt car park opposite. Its marketplace includes bookable private spaces that owners do not actively use, such as hotel parking, office-building spaces, private driveways and unused garages.

Pre-bookable parking near BMW Museum

A reserved space can be useful when your museum entry time is fixed or when you want to avoid searching around the Olympic Park on arrival. Mobypark offers bookable spaces near BMW Museum, with availability and access conditions shown for the date and time selected. Some options may be up to 60% cheaper than the on-site car park's hourly tariff, although savings depend on the listing and booking period.

Compare BMW Museum parking before you arrive

The BMW Welt car park is the most direct on-site option: it is beneath BMW Welt and opposite BMW Museum. Arriving without a booking means paying at the car park and relying on a space being available at the time you reach the site. Comparing a Mobypark space in advance gives you another paid parking option when certainty matters.

The museum and BMW Welt share the same immediate area, so check the exact entrance instructions for any space you book. Do not assume that a private space has the same access route or opening hours as the BMW Welt car park.

BMW Welt car park prices and opening hours

The price list displayed at the entrance applies when you park. The first 15 minutes are free, but longer visits are charged from the second quarter-hour onwards.

Overnight and longer-stay parking at BMW Museum

The BMW Welt car park is not an overnight facility. Your parking must be finished by 24:00, and leaving a vehicle there overnight is not permitted. If you need parking beyond those hours, use a Mobypark listing only when its stated access window covers the full period of your booking; never assume that a booked private space allows overnight parking.

Arriving by car or public transport

BMW Museum is at Am Olympiapark 2 in Munich, with the BMW Welt car park at the nearby BMW Welt site. Follow signs for BMW Welt, Lerchenauer Straße or Feldmoching, then follow the car-park directions on arrival. Olympiazentrum station on the U3 is around five to seven minutes on foot from BMW Welt and BMW Museum, providing a practical alternative if the car-park hours do not suit your visit.

The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, with last admission at 17:30. Allow enough time to leave the car park before its midnight closing time.
