How do I pay for my parking?
Parking from individuals:
Are you interested in one of the private parking space rentals on Mobypark? Reserve your parking space on the website or via your smartphone. At the moment of your reservation, we only conduct a pre-authorization of your credit card. Only when the parking owner accepts your reservation request, your credit card will be charged. In case you pay via iDeal or Sofortüberweisung you will be asked to pay upfront for your booking request. That means, everything is paid by you online and no money needs to be exchanged with the parking owner at the parking itself. If your reservation request is declined, then the pre-authorization will be cancelled automatically if you paid by credit card. If you paid with any of the other payment methods, your money will be refunded within 5 days.
Parking from companies (hotels, companies, universities etc.):
If you are interested in a parking space rental from one of our companies, there are two different options:
1) at the companies that are marked with a “book instantly” label, you complete your reservation and your request is confirmed immediately. You do not need to wait for a final confirmation of the owner. Consequently, at this moment your credit card/bank is charged with the total amount of your reservation.
2) companies without the “book instantly” label follow the same principle as "Parking from Individuals". We also carry out a pre-authorization of your credit card and only charge you once your booking is accepted by the parking owner.
In any case, your reservation is paid entirely online and no extra payment at the company, hotel, etc. is required. You can always cancel your reservation up to 24 hours prior to your arrival and receive a refund of the reservation fee. Have in mind that the cancellation doesn’t include a refund of the service fee from the purchase of the product.
